Notes for Fringe season 1, “Unearthed“
This was the season one episode that was unaired. I think it’s probably supposed to take place before season 1, episode 10 – but it was shown after season 2, episode 10. Thus episode numbering for season 2 is all messed up.
00:55 The ventilator that gets switched off is a Puritan-Bennett 7200a
03:29 Apparently on hearing someone shout “68339-AE358”, a surgeon recognised a five-digit number as being a Navy ID? The US Armed Forces use Social Security numbers as ID, which are nine digits.
04:00 With a birthday in 1981, Rusk is presumably under the age of 28 in the naval file photo. Apologies to the actor, but he doesn’t look it.
09:28 Annie Parisse would later play Kara Stanton in Person of Interest
09:35 FBI document has Lisa Donovan’s date-of-birth as 11-19-1982 which makes her a 26-year-old. Also given she’s 17, and this episode is set in late 2008 or early 2009, it should be 1991.
24:10 Walter asks for “100 mikes per liter”, and I assume that’s mcg/L – but do people say “mikes”?
25:52 Astrid says “We’re at 6 Hz” as the camera, for some reason, shows a Stoelting blood pressure gauge reading of 10mmHg (not a healthy blood pressure)
35:10 Rusk’s gun box has an obscured American Security logo
42:45 There’s a Pepsi billboard in Times Square “Happy 09” indicating that the end of this episode takes place around New Year 2009.
